Position Summary

The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a full-time 1.0 FTE, 9-month, tenure track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean. This position in any area of Cybersecurity is to begin Fall 2020. Applicants must hold a doctorate degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or closely related field. The successful candidate is expected to initiate new funded research as well as expand complement, and collaborate with existing research programs in the School, the College of Engineering, and beyond. The successful candidate is also expected to perform duties related to teaching, student advising, advancing appropriate research and other scholarly activities, and service activities.

Position Duties

40% Teaching and related duties Teaching of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering. 50% Research and scholarly activities Research, scholarship, mentoring students and management of multidisciplinary research programs. 10% Service Service to the School, College and/or University. Participate in regional and national professional service activities. Minimum/Required Qualifications Minimum/Required Qualifications at the level of Assistant Professor •Applicants must have earned a PhD in Electrical andComputer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline prior to position start date.

•Demonstrated ability or significant potential for excellent teaching.

•Demonstrated ability or significant potential for leading and collaborating in innovative research.

•Demonstrated ability or significant potential for attracting the necessary funding to sustain a vigorous research program.

•Proven oral and written communication skills.

•A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

•This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months. Minimum/Required Qualifications at the level of Associate or Full Professor
